We've been hearing reports that Broomsdale has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Currie's coach down at Irish Collar & Elbow Academy (ICE) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Currie's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Currie sprawls well initially but Neer persists and gets the takedown into half guard. #SUB2#
Neer is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Currie is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Zneer Neer spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
