Mike shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Vurris is trying to defend but Mike finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Mike not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Mike really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vurris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vurris is looking to control Mike's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Vurris avoid being mounted?
Mike slips a nice elbow through Vurris's hands, connecting with Vurris's forehead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mike's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Big Mike decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |

Mike fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jordan manages to avoid it.
