Von Cardiff feints and as The Lazer raises his hands in defense, Von Cardiff changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The Lazer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Von Cardiff stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Lazer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
