Berchyk tries to sprawl but Smack drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Berchyk trying to control but Smack postures up.
Still in half guard, Smack seems content to control.
Smack wants to pass the guard but Berchyk is defending well.
Smack perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Smack thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Berchyk's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2#
Smack has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Berchyk defend it? Smack steps over the head and cranks it - Berchyk is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Smack!
