Kuti's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hattori connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kuti scrambles back to his feet.

Kuti is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Hattori flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Hattori is out cold! Kuti holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

After winning the bout, Hanzo Hattori thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Hattori looks to throw the jab but Yakamito is out of range.
Yakamito let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Yakamito dips to his left and cracks Hattori with an uppercut!
Hattori takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Yakamito connects with a body shot that sends Hattori's belly button to the back.
Yakamito throws a big shot that misses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hattori leaves his chin hanging out and Yakamito seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Hattori crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Dead Pool really struggled with his weight cut for this fight. After coming in at 189.5, he had two hours to cut the additional weight. He was unable to do so and as a result, his fight with Hanzo Hattori was cancelled.
So, the belt remains unclaimed. Very disappointing for everyone involved!

Hanzo Hattori was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Hattori lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Poniatowski crumples to the floor! Hattori milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Yoshimachi looks winded!
Hattori connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hattori lands a high kick!
Hattori throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Yoshimachi wants to clinch.
Hattori throws a sloppy head kick and Yoshimachi moves out of range easily.
Hattori lands a nice leg kick that just misses Yoshimachi's sensitive parts.
Hattori throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Yoshimachi takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Yoshimachi takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Hattori! Yoshimachi is out on his feet! Hattori rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Yoshimachi is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Yoshimachi is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
