Diesel feints and as Lionheart raises his hands in defense, Diesel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Diesel is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Diesel throws a big right hand that misses.
Diesel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lionheart swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Diesel stays in close to Lionheart's body and controls the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diesel wants to get up but he can't break Lionheart's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. #T1#
Diesel is pushing down on Lionheart's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lionheart is fighting to maintain full guard but Diesel has managed to sneak the leg through.
Diesel perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Diesel is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lionheart to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lionheart shrugs it off.

Well Diesel has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
