Oh but McDonald is tightening it up a little... Paine has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Paine reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Paine taps out! Nice BJJ there by McDonald!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paine lands a nice hook to Molinov's body. Molinov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Paine scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Molinov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Paine to score with a decent uppercut.
Paine tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Molinov was well out of range. Poor timing from Paine.

and Molinov counters with a straight right hand.

As Paine looks to move away, Molinov throws a big counter combo but Paine just gets out of the way.
Paine has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Paine throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Smith sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Paine looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.#CL#
Smith moves into range and clinches up with Paine.
Smith swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Paine swings wildly with an uppercut but Smith uses good head movement to avoid it.

Smith lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Smith scores with a shot to the side of Paine's head.
Smith tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Paine avoids it.

Smith misses with the head strike.

Paine covers up and Smith unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Cunningham Jnr steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Paine.
No joy there for Paine, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cunningham Jnr uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Paine.
It seemed like Cunningham Jnr was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Cunningham Jnr comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Paine scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cunningham Jnr in his tracks.
Cunningham Jnr throws a push kick but Paine slaps the foot to one side.
Paine takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
