Barru throws a nice outside leg kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Barru is defended easily by Tanaka.
Barru closes the distance and clinches up with Tanaka, looking for a takedown. Barru pushes Tanaka against the cage but Tanaka circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tanaka is trying hard to land a takedown here. Barru sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. #CL2#

Barru goes for a takedown attempt but Tanaka pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Time has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.#TD#

Time is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tanaka is controlling him.

Do throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Do tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tanaka defends well and Do ends up having to push Tanaka into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Do takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Tanaka will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Do throws a big counter combination but Tanaka scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Do tries to roll over - now Tanaka is on the bottom but the guillotine is really deep and Do has to tap out! Great work there by Tanaka!
