#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allen circles away from the clinch attempt#TD2# and Allen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jackson won't be happy with that. Allen scores with punches from side control. Jackson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jackson tries to get out of the position. Allen staying calm.#SUB2# Allen has hold of Jackson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Jackson seems comfortable defending it but Allen has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Jackson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Jackson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Allen couldn't care less - he's delighted!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henriksen throws a sloppy head kick and Allen moves out of range easily. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Henriksen. Henriksen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Henriksen thinks about countering with a head kick. Henriksen lands a high kick!
A lazy left from Henriksen finds it's target. Allen misses with a left hand and Henriksen counters with a nice body kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Henriksen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Allen on the side of the head. Henriksen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.#T1# Allen throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Henriksen takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Henriksen pushes Allen away with a front kick. Allen swings widly with a right hand

We've been told by Henriksen's head coaches at Brazilian Top Team + Ricardo Arona that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Allen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown #TD# and Henriksen counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. #SUB# Henriksen is looking for a kimura here.

#T4# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Allen is working for an escape here. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Allen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Allen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Allen wants to control from the top but Henriksen keeps moving. Allen throws an elbow that misses. and Henriksen counters with a two punch combo. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Henriksen thuds his right hand into Allen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
And that's the end of the fight! Karl Henriksen showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Henriksen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reynolds throws a series of punches but Allen moves out of range. Allen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Reynolds. Allen drops down looking for a counter takedown but Reynolds sprawls and moves away. Allen throws a big shot that misses. Allen scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Allen on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Reynolds throws a right and a left that both miss. Allen avoids a punch combination nicely.

Allen has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.#SUB# Allen drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Allen seems to have locked his on tight now - Reynolds screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Allen, as he picks up the win!

Van Bromer smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Allen takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. We've been told by Van Bromer's head coaches at ~T~ Troid - Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Van Bromer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. And Allen tries to counter it with a takedown but Van Bromer pushes his down on his head and steps out. Van Bromer scores with a one two! Allen had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Van Bromer!
