Kennedy drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kennedy wants to get up but he can't break Kinghtfall's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Kennedy could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kinghtfall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kennedy trying to control but Kinghtfall is working from the bottom.
Kinghtfall wants to sweep here but Kennedy controlling him for the moment.
Kennedy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kinghtfall swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kinghtfall has an Americana. Kennedy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kinghtfall is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kinghtfall hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
