Stotts lands with a nice body punch.
Stotts has been working on his boxing with his coaches at UnderGround Wrestling and Jiu Jitsu in the buildup to the fight.
Kong tries for a takedown but Stotts circles away easily
enabling Stotts to counter with a crisp jab. #CUT#
It looks like King Kong has been cut.
Stotts lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Stotts dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Stotts.
Kong moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kong fails with the takedown
and Stotts counters with a left to the body.
Kong looks winded!
Kong takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Stotts drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Kong right on the button. Kong goes down! Stotts follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Stotts gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hugo Stotts!

Evergreen jabs Kong right on the nose. Kong blinks but takes it well.#CUT#
It looks like King Kong has been cut.
Kong takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Kong takes a body punch but keeps moving. #TD2#
Kong decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Kong working Evergreen over with strikes.
Kong lands with a punch from half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kong is nestled in close to Evergreen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Kong scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Kong missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kong thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

It looks like Sampson Evergreen has been cut.
Evergreen is not content to let Kong control the position.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sampson Evergreen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
