Kargins moves in looking to clinch but Peterson pushes him off.
Peterson avoids the head kick by Kargins.
Kargins throws a sloppy head kick and Peterson moves out of range easily.
Kargins's coach down at Island Hammers Fight Camp was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kargins's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Peterson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Peterson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kargins but Kargins pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kargins pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Peterson is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Kargins.
Peterson moves in looking to clinch but Kargins pushes him off.
Kargins misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kargins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

and Maju counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Maju lands a jab to Kargins's midsection.
Kargins tries a head kick but it misses.
Maju looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Maju scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Maju lands a nice hook to Kargins's body. Kargins takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kargins is breathing heavily.
Kargins closes the distance but Maju moves to the side
and Maju cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Maju lands a lovely overhand right.
Maju connects with a looping right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kargins is holding his hands too far apart here. Maju throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Kargins is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Jones Jr closes the distance and clinches up with Kargins, looking for a takedown. Jones Jr pushes Kargins against the cage but Kargins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Jin looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Kargins is defending well. Jin quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Kargins has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Jin celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Kargins drives through with a takedown into Yoshioka's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Yoshioka controls Kargins momentarily but Kargins frees himself.
Kargins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yoshioka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB#
Yoshioka is looking to cinch up a triangle. Kargins throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Yoshioka's body to avoid the submission. Yoshioka has instead reached around Kargins's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Yoshioka arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Satoru Yoshioka!
