It looks like Johnnie Bell has been cut.
Mi wants to break free but Bell has control.
Mi goes for a body shot but it's blocked. #TD#
Bell ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bell no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Mi wants to stand but Bell has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Mi stopping the sweep attempt from Bell.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bell wants to stand and escape but Mi is having none of it. #ES#
The fighters are working up against the cage. Bell manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Bell drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mi gets the underhooks and prevents it. #BC#

Mi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Mi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mi lands with a hook. Bell tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Mi doesn't manage to clinch there - Bell circles away.
Bell is looking for a counter combo.
Bell walks straight into a right hand from Mi - that's dropped him! Mi jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Bell from any more punishment! Bell complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Yuhsuck Mi!

Bell's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Phren Ology was interviewed post fight and said 'Uuu.... uuuuuhhh... aaaaaaa!!!!! Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!!!!!!!'.

Bell moves in looking to clinch but Smashmouth pushes him off.
Bell doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Smashmouth scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut! #CUT2#
It looks like Johnnie Bell has been cut.
Good shot there by Smashmouth.
Smashmouth cracks Bell with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bell tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Smashmouth pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bell is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
