That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Luke Neil.

It looks like Israel Adesanya has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Neil stands up over Adesanya, holding on to his feet. Neil throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Adesanya is out cold! Neil lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Luke Neil!
