Browne tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rose defends well and Browne ends up having to push Rose into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Browne shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rose as he avoids it easily.
And Rose tries to counter it with a takedown but Browne pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Browne looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kris Browne. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rose displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Browne.
Rose uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Browne.
Rose tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Browne is just content to waste time from the top position. Rose takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
