Murrizzo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jones quickly recovers to half guard.
Jones tries to kick Murrizzo off in order to stand up. Murrizzo Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Murrizzo remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Jones on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Jones tries to bench press Murrizzo off him but Murrizzo keeps the position.

Murrizzo lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Jones ! Murrizzo senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Jones out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!

Jones darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Sand has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jones is working away from the top position though.
Jones tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sand knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Sand is trying to get back to full guard.
Sand moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Sand has his feet on Jones 's thighs here. He's pushed Jones off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Jones screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Jones misses with a takedown
and Cpw counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Cpw lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
A punch lands to the side of Jones 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Jones wants to clinch.
Jones looks to clinch
and Cpw connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cpw is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Cpw circles away from the clinch attempt
and Cpw counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cpw with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Jones 's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cpw under the eye.
Jones swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cpw lands with a shot to the body.

Jones drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cpw pushes Jones against the cage. Cpw is working some dirty boxing. Cpw pushes off with a quick right hook! Jones goes down! Jones tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Cpw moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

After winning the bout, Dawid Cpw thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
