The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wasa lands with a thumping leg kick.

Wasa shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gracie is trying to defend but Wasa finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Wasa controlling the action here.
Gracie is looking for a sweep. Wasa is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wasa is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gracie has managed to free his arm - good work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wasa is thwarting Gracie's attempts to control the position.

Wasa is working for a kimura but Gracie is defending it quite comfortably.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie manages to get to full guard.
Gracie is looking to sweep but instead, Wasa has passed into half guard.
Wasa content to control rather than advance.
Wasa prevents Gracie from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wasa stalling.
Wasa works his way into side control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
You can see the frustration on Gracie's face as Wasa controls the position.
Wasa tries to advance to mount but can't.
Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Wasa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wasa is staying tight to Gracie's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Gracie is trying to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wasa is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Gracie's shoulder. That is not cool.

Wasa in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Gracie is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Masa Wasa!
After winning the bout, Masa Wasa thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Lassiter has closed the distance and engaged Gracie in a clinch. #TD#
Lassiter has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Gracie is trying to keep an underhook but Lassiter manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Gracie is looking to get back to is feet but Lassiter passes into side control.
Lassiter has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Gracie!
Lassiter lands a big shot there that rocks Gracie but he's holding on and managing to survive for now. #CUT#
It looks like Royce Gracie has been cut.
Lassiter unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Gracie wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Lassiter celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

A very excited looking Carlton Lassiter made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

and Pettis makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt
and Pettis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gracie tries to clinch
and Pettis counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt.
Pettis tries to counter with a clinch but Gracie shakes him off and moves away.

Gracie decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Pettis wants to get back to his feet.

Royce Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Pettis counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Gracie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gracie tries to clinch but Pettis is having none of it.

Pettis manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gracie gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Pettis counters with a three punch combo that has Gracie backing up. Gracie nods at Pettis to acknowledge the strikes.
Pettis is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Gracie stays in close to Man's body and controls the position.
Let's hope that Gracie has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Gracie drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Gracie seems to have locked his on tight now - Wick screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Gracie, as he picks up the win!

Fury is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Gracie dives into side control.
Fury really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#REVB#
Fury is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Gracie is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Gracie!

Kirk knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.
Kirk is trying to control the position but Gracie postures up.
Kirk keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.
Gracie controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Kirk wants to hit a switch here but Gracie passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Kirk there!

Gracie is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Kirk is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Kirk flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Gracie anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Kirk and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Gracie slips an arm under Kirk chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Gracie has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Gracie is squeezing on Kirk like an anaconda would it's prey. Kirk fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Well, with Gracie on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Mueller is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Gracie has got one arm under Mueller's chin. This could be trouble... Mueller trying to control the other hand but Gracie gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Mueller has tapped out! The fight is over!
