#R1# Took plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Took rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yamamoto moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Took's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Took's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Yamamoto avoids the head kick by Took.
Took throws a head kick that misses #TD# and Yamamoto counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Took keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. #SUB# Yamamoto is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! Miller tries to break free but Took pushes him back against the cage. Took creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Miller's defenses. #CUT# It looks like Mason Miller has been cut. The referee calls for Took to work.

Took lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Miller backwards. Took putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Miller in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Took has Miller pressed against the cage, preventing Miller from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Took lands an elbow inside that Miller shrugs off. Miller wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Took has him pressed against the cage. Took missing with knees to the body.

#R1# A shot to the body from Took misses letting Woodley counter with a right hand. Woodley keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Took misses with an elbow over the top. Took lands with a light punch inside. Took unloads a knee to the mid-section. Woodley is trying to force a seperation but Took has the dominant position. Took tries to pull guard but Woodley holds him up against the cage and eventually Took drops back down to his feet.
