Marcus is rocked!
Marcus is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Haymaker just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Marcus has gone limp and this one is over!

Marcus gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Haymaker gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Marcus fails to land the takedown.
Giovanni LaRocca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marcus dives in for a single leg takedown but LaRocca sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Marcus shoots in but no luck this time.
Giovanni LaRocca has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Marcus.

Marcus feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
