Maynard is working Cricket over against the cage.
Cricket is looking for a takedown.

Maynard has clasped his hands together around Cricket's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Cricket is letting Maynard control him for a moment. #SUB2#
Maynard has an Americana. Cricket didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Maynard is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Maynard hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Josefi rushes Cricket and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Josefi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cricket gets the underhooks and prevents it. #BC2#
Cricket breaks from the clinch.
Josefi tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Josefi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. #CL2#
Cricket closes the distance and pushes Josefi back into the cage.
Josefi has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Cricket after a bit of a struggle.
Josefi is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terry Josefi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cricket wants to break the clinch but can't.
Josefi tries to score a body lock takedown but Cricket shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cricket's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Josefi is trying to drag Cricket to the mat but Cricket just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

We've been informed that Cricket has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Torito avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cricket throws a head kick that misses.
Torito is looking for a counter combo.

Torito gets caught flat footed, as Cricket shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Torito tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Torito has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Torito manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cricket manages to get himself to full guard. #REVR#

Torito has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Torito remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. #T3#
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
