Highlander decides to pull guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Highlander can do anything to dispel that myth.
Maromigo passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Highlander is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB#
Maromigo is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Highlander is trying to escape and Maromigo transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Highlander is forced to tap! Nice work there by Maromigo! Very nice indeed!

Bataev moves in looking to clinch but Maromigo pushes him off.
Bataev misses the shot to the body.
Maromigo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bataev misses with a body kick.
Maromigo misses with a takedown attempt - Bataev sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bataev throws a right and a left that both miss.
Maromigo drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bataev defends it well.
Maromigo cracks Bataev with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Bataev tries to close the distance and clinch but Maromigo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bataev swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bataev throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Maromigo's waist but Maromigo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bataev off to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2#
Maromigo drives through with a takedown into Bataev's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Maromigo is working Bataev over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Maromigo stuffs the takedown attempt from Perry. Perry gets slowly back to his feet.

It looks like Mike Perry has been cut.
Maromigo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd cheers as Maromigo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Perry doesn't seem phased though.
