Weed misses with a hook
and Riku counters with a nice low kick that buckles Weed's knee momentarily.
Riku loads up on a big right hand but Weed slips the punch.
Weed looks to land a combination. Riku sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Weed has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Riku changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Weed misses the shot to the body.
As Weed backs away, Riku returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Weed fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Riku manages to avoid it.
Weed throws a leg kick that misses.
Riku was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
A left lands for Riku.
Riku and Weed are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Riku throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Weed into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Riku knows it - he's on the ropes flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Lazuran Riku!
A very excited looking Lazuran Riku rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Weed lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Peach throws a shot to the body.
Weed keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Weed moves out of range as Peach strikes.
Im Peach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weed connects with a good right hand that stumbles Peach. Peach circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Peach fails to land with a series of punches.
Peach cracks Weed with an open hand slap.
Weed darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Weed fails to land with a series of punches.
Peach fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Weed looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
BOOM! Peach lands a beautiful left hook that drops Weed. Weed tries to recover but Peach is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Weed lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

As Weed looks to move away, Alligator throws a big counter combo but Weed just gets out of the way.
Weed throws a hook but Alligator avoids it easily.
Alligator was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Weed misses with a body kick.
Weed thuds his right hand into Alligator's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Weed will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A quick step to the side and Alligator tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Weed throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Weed takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Alligator counters with a crisp right that sends Weed to the canvas! Alligator follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
