and Pearson counters with a good, hard body kick but Abbot shrugs it off.

Pearson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pearson throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Pearson lands a leg kick that knocks Abbot off balance momentarily.

Pearson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Abbot sprawling to the canvas! Abbot rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Pearson finish him?!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Abbot gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Pearson gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Abbot is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

It looks like Ramon Sessions has been cut.

Sessions lands a jab-cross combination.
Sessions shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Abbot pinned against the cage. Abbot gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sessions avoids the head kick by Abbot.
Abbot lands an overhand right.
Abbot motions for Sessions to come forward. Abbot throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Abbot connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A big right from Abbot misses.
BOOM! Abbot lands a beautiful left hook that drops Sessions . Sessions tries to recover but Abbot is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Sessions lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

A very excited looking Casper Abbot rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The fight stays on the outside here - Samuel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Casper Abbot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abbot clobbers Samuel with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Abbot looks to land a combination but Samuel avoids it well.

Samuel complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Casper Abbot decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Sessions was out before he hit the floor!

In his post fight interview, Casper Abbot started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Abbot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Singleton has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Abbot lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Singleton has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Singleton and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

It looks like Carmelo Clark has been cut.
Clark fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Clark blocks a jab.
Clark avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Abbot lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Abbot fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Clark looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Abbot lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Clark circles away quickly and effectively.#KD2#
Abbot drops Clark with a beautiful combination! Clark stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Abbot is looking for the KO!#ROC2#

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
