Figg definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Figg is working Towson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Figg slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Figg throws a big right hand that misses.
Towson keeping moving, preventing Figg from controlling successfully.
Figg is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Towson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Towson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Towson dives in and grabs Figg's left leg, looking for a takedown. Figg pushes down on Towson's head and hops out.
Towson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Figg's waist but Figg gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Towson off to one side.
Figg throws a jab when Towson was well out of range.
Towson wants to clinch up but Figg keeps it at a distance.
Figg avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Towson is not content to let Figg control the position.

O Neal gets underhooks to prevent Towson's takedown attempt.
Towson is trying to pull guard but O Neal has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Greg Towson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
O Neal has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Towson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Towson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and O Neal dives into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sapp blocks an elbow strike.
Sapp lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Towson goes for a takedown attempt but Sapp pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Towson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Towson dives in for a single leg takedown but Sapp sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Nice takedown defense from Sapp. No joy for Towson on that attempt.
