We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sparr has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Small uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sparr.
Sparr pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sparr throws a series of punches but Small avoids them all with ease.
Sparr dives in for a single leg takedown but Small sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Small gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sparr.
