Esquire moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromWatts. Good shot there by Watts. Watts scores with a shot to the body.
#TD# Esquire closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Watts's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Watts can do anything to dispel that myth. Esquire wants to control from the top but Watts keeps moving. #SUB# Esquire thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Esquire trying to control the position from guard on top but Watts is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Esquire throwing strikes but missing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Watts wants to stand up but Esquire is controlling him. #R1# Remington tries to clinch but Esquire is having none of it. Remington wants to clinch up but Esquire keeps it at a distance. Esquire looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Remington punishes Esquire's body with a nice straight punch.#TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Remington enables Esquire to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Remington manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Esquire controls from within his opponent's guard. Esquire stopping the sweep attempt from Remington. Esquire pushes down on Remington's leg and manages to get into half guard. Esquire is pressing down on Remington's thigh, looking to free his foot. Remington is holding on for now. Remington trying to hold on to Esquire's head to control him but Esquire postures up.
#SUB# Esquire has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Remington defend it? Esquire steps over the head and cranks it - Remington is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Esquire!

Lucania tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Esquire showed some decent athleticism there. #ES2# Lucania makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lucania shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.#TD# Lucania gets caught napping as Esquire dives in and scores a takedown. Lucania manages to retain guard. Esquire keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lucania's head. Lucania keeping moving, preventing Esquire from controlling successfully. Lucania regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Lucania is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Esquire dives into side control.

#R1# Esquire with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sola to score with a decent uppercut.#CUT2# It looks like Jason Esquire has been cut. Esquire takes one to the chin there. Esquire has his takedown stuffed and Sola makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Sola uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Esquire shoots in for a takedown but Sola shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Esquire tries for a takedown but Sola circles away easily#KD2# and Sola counters with a crisp right hand that drops Esquire! Sola lets Esquire back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#ROC2# Esquire is rocked! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Esquire. That's going to take a lot out of him. This has been an exciting period of action! Esquire takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Oh Esquire is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Esquire has his takedown stuffed and Sola counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A shot to the liver by Sola. Beautiful body shot. Esquire seems to have got his legs back now. He's backing up but Sola isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Esquire from any more damage. A dominating finish by Sola!
