#R1# Bates lands a nice shot to the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! McGowan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bates - the referee stops the clock and McGowan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bates. McGowan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. McGowan shoots and misses and Bates cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. McGowan steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Bates. That one must have hurt. McGowan looks winded! Bates thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on McGowan if he has to take too many more of those.
McGowan ducks right into an uppercut from Bates. Bates fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. A shot to the liver by Bates. Beautiful body shot. Bates has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Ferocious Beast in the buildup to the fight. Bates scores with a jab to the jaw. Noah McGowan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bates is looking to slow McGowan down with leg kicks. Bates lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Bates keeps McGowan at a distance using the push kick. McGowan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bates connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! McGowan scrambles back to his feet. Bates fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Bates connects with a solid leg kick. #T1# McGowan on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
McGowan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Bates throws out a powerful jab. Bates jabs McGowan to the body, keeping him at a distance. Bates drops McGowan with a huge uppercut! McGowan drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Bates is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

#R1##TD2# Farfan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.#SUB2# McGowan drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Farfan dives on top into guard.#REVR# The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# McGowan has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Farfan should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, McGowan has tightened it up now! Farfan should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

#R1# Prager shoots in for a takedown but McGowan shows good takedown defense. Prager dives in for a single leg takedown but McGowan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. McGowan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.#TD2# Prager shoots in and bounces McGowan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Prager passes easily into side control. Nice work. Prager taking a breather here. It looks like Prager might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prager lands some shots froms side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Prager lands an elbow. #T1# Prager scores with a couple of short elbows. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Prager landing strikes from the mount. McGowan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Prager on the ground. Prager controlling the pace for now. Prager has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. McGowan wants to stand and escape but instead Hair has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVR# We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McGowan can do anything to dispel that myth.#SUB# Hair has gone for a leg lock! McGowan slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hair's guard.#REVB# McGowan landing some decent shots from guard. It's a sloppy attempt though and McGowan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of McGowan. Hair tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. McGowan follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Hair tries to close the distance and clinch but McGowan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. McGowan has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. And that's the end of the fight! Noah McGowan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well McGowan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
