It looks like Mercrucio Vasques has been cut.
Kinski throws an overhand right that drops Vasques like a sack of potatoes! Kinski dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

A very excited looking Klaus Kinski rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Storey closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Storey definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vasques can do anything to dispel that myth.

Vasques wants to control but Chaykovsky is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Vasques has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Chaykovsky should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Vasques has tightened it up now! Chaykovsky should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Vasques shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Magnunsen pinned against the cage. Magnunsen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Magnunsen appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Magnunsen throws a shot to the body.
Vasques has been working on his balance at King Of Pain, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Magnunsen.
Vasques swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Vasques throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Magnunsen.

Vasques shoots in looking for a takedown. Magnunsen tries to sprawl out of it but Vasques keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Magnunsen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Magnunsen is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Vasques had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

and Magnunsen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Vasques gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Magnunsen points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Vasques wakes up just in time to hear Magnunsen thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Our winner, Thor Magnunsen, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

Supuaga is fighting off a takedown attempt but Vasques is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Supuaga to the mat. Supuaga regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.#SUB#
Supuaga pushes a forearm under Vasques's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Vasques is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Paea Supuaga!
An out of breath Paea Supuaga thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

Inthavongsa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vasques. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vasques seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Vasques passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Inthavongsa!
Inthavongsa is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
