Kattapa shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hooper cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hooper defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kattapa.
Kattapa shoots in for a takedown but Hooper shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Orelov Kattapa. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kattapa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hooper sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kattapa somewhat.

Kattapa dives in and grabs Hooper's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hooper pushes down on Kattapa's head and hops out.

Horrible takedown attempt by Kattapa or perhaps it was just good defense by Hooper, which made it look bad.
A punch lands to the side of Kattapa 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hooper changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Hooper is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hooper feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kattapa sprawling to the canvas! Kattapa rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hooper finish him?!
Oh Kattapa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hooper cracks Kattapa with a hook to the temple - Kattapa is on wobbly legs here! Hooper swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Kattapa falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Hooper wins by TKO!
