Marconi tries a body shot but Mann blocks it.
A head punch on the inside from Mann fails to land.
Mann misses with a short punch on the inside.
Mann can't find room to land a body shot as Marconi controls the action.
Mann scores with a shot to the side of Marconi's head. #CUT#
It looks like Fabian Marconi has been cut.
Marconi prevents a body shot from Mann.
A left hand lands to the body for Mann.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mann has Marconi pressed against the cage. Marconi drops his hands and Mann takes advantage by unloading with a massive hook that sends Marconi tumbling to the canvas! Mann rains down with more punches but Marconi was already out! That's a highlight reel knockout for Mann!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mountain Mann!
After the fight, Mountain Mann was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Vasa misses with a takedown attempt - Marconi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Vasa fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Marconi misses with a two punch combination.
Nick Vasa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marconi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Marconi could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Marconi catches Vasa with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Vasa forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

In his post fight interview, Fabian Marconi started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
