Nickerson slips a jab from Amodei.#TD2#
Amodei closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Nickerson quickly recovers to half guard.
Nickerson is trying to maintain the position but Amodei is very close to passing his half guard.
Nickerson trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Amodei manages to pass to mount!
Nickerson reaches up to try and control the position but Amodei seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Nickerson rolls and tries to escape and now Amodei has his back!
Amodei is looking to control Nickerson but Nickerson is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Nickerson's coaches at The Cooker have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Nickerson throws a hook but Doctore blocks it.
Doctore gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Nickerson tried to score with a low kick but Doctore checks it.
Nickerson throws a leg kick but Doctore moved away.
Nickerson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A jab from Doctore finds it's way through Nickerson's defenses.

Hernando's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
