Spinetta escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rounded tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rounded shoots and misses #CL2# and Spinetta moves into the clinch. Rounded is trying to pull guard but Spinetta turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Very Rounded. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD# Rounded jumps guard.

Ryota eats them both and turns towards Spinetta to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Spinetta shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ryota as he jumps to the side. It looked like Ryota wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Spinetta displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ryota. Ryota gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Spinetta counters with a three punch combo that has Ryota backing up.
