#R1##TD2# Richards closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Poels did well to prevent Richards getting side control. Richards lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. #CUT2# It looks like Walt Poels has been cut. Poels is trying to maintain the position but Richards is very close to passing his half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Richards drops an elbow to the side of Poels's head. #CUT2# Walt Poels's cut is getting worse. Richards slows the pace down in half guard. Nice strikes from Richards there. #CUT2# Walt Poels's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Poels knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Richards on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Richards not doing much here.
Poels is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #T1# Still in half guard, Richards seems content to control. Richards has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Poels is trying to get back to full guard. #R1# McGee wants to clinch. Richards tries to counter with a takedown but McGee is quick to defend against it. Richards keeps the fight on the outside. McGee tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Richards manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Richards is looking to score with low kicks. McGee connects with a high kick. McGee fails with an attempt to clinch.
Richards tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McGee was well out of range. Poor timing from Richards. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Richards. McGee lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. McGee lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Richards swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McGee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. #TD# Richards drives through with a takedown into guard. McGee should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. McGee pulls Richards in close to his closed guard and prevents Richards from doing any damage or advancing position.#T1# McGee wants to sweep but no luck. Richards postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Richards wants to control from the top but McGee keeps moving. #SUB# Richards is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! McGee is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! McGee has escaped and now he's on top! #REVB# Richards is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.#SUB# Richards looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

McGee trying to control but Richards is working from the bottom. McGee is looking to stand up but Richards won't let him. #T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.#SUB# Richards is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and McGee defends well. Richards is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. McGee wants to control from the top but Richards keeps moving. McGee is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.#SUB# Richards looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#SUB# Richards escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McGee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. Oh Richards is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! McGee works on Richards's body with a couple of short punches. McGee lands a knee to the body.
McGee scores with a hook to the body. Richards seems to have got his legs back now. Knees to the body from McGee.
McGee lands a nice uppercut. McGee creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Richards's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Richards drops to his knees and McGee pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

#R1# Richards misses with a low kick as Ivanov jumps back. Ivanov staying out of range there. Ivanov feints the counter takedown. Richards misses with a low kick as Ivanov jumps back. A low kick from Richards misses and Ivanov counters with a right hand to the body. Richards circles away from the clinch attempt.
#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Richards enables Ivanov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Richards manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.#SUB# Richards looking for subs off his back but Ivanov has passed one foot through into half guard.
#SUB# Ivanov is looking to control the position but Richards frees his trapped leg and locks up an armbar from the bottom! It looks tight! Ivanov grimaces and holds on for a second but is forced to tap or have his arm broken! Slick Jiu Jitsu from Richards there - Ivanov really paying for some sloppy defensive work!
