Merritt displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mechant throws out the jab.
Mechant throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Merritt sees it coming and avoids it easily.
It looked like Merritt was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Merritt defending well as Mechant loads up on a big left hand.
Mechant throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mechant cracks Merritt on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Merritt falls backwards against the cage. Mechant follows up with more strikes that drop Merritt to his knees. Mechant keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Merritt! This one is all over!

Mechant swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Freeman.#CUT2#
It looks like Maria Freeman has been cut.
Mechant lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Freeman looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. #ROC2#
Freeman is rocked!
Mechant drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Freeman's head, knocking him out cold! Mechant is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
