Voilier tries to buck Shepherd off but Shepherd is having none of it.

Shepherd flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Voilier anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Shepherd and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Voilier slips an arm under Shepherd chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Voilier has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Voilier is squeezing on Shepherd like an anaconda would it's prey. Shepherd fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Simon Voilier was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Machio shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Machio was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Shepherd is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Machio lets go of the hold and Shepherd can pop his arm back in it's socket.

A very excited looking Ralph Machio made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Shepherd looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Evans can't hide his disappointment, as Shepherd celebrates the victory.
