Smiff drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Braxton defends it well.

Braxton displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Smiff.
Smiff shoots for a double leg takedown but Braxton sprawls well. He's pushed Smiff's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Zachary Braxton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diatomaceous Smiff.

Braxton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smiff moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Braxton shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Smiff eats them both and turns towards Braxton to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Braxton seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

and Braxton counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

and Braxton counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Smiff thinking.

Sprogis throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Smiff misses with a low kick.
Smiff shoots in for a double leg but Sprogis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sprogis throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Smiff showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sprogis.
Smiff shoots in but no luck this time.
As Smiff tries to get set, Sprogis tries to push him back and clinch up but Smiff manages to avoid the attempt.
