Hai feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

and Creel counters with a three punch combo that has McNakamura backing up. McNakamura nods at Creel to acknowledge the strikes.
McNakamura lands a jab to the nose.

McNakamura looks to land a left hand but Creel moved out of range nicely.
Creel darts in looking for a takedown but McNakamura gets double underhooks and turns Creel into the cage.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Creel enables Mack to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Creel manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Shaun Russell.
