Cameron has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cameron unloads with some vicious shots from mount and McMurphy wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Cameron celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

McMurphy fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Matsushina on the side of the head.
McMurphy bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Matsushina's head backwards.#TD2#
Matsushina closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Matsushina lands in his opponent's guard.#SUB#
McMurphy has his foot on Matsushina's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Matsushina works his way back into a safe position though.
McMurphy wants to sweep but no luck.

Matsushina drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Matsushina seems to have locked his on tight now - McMurphy screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Matsushina, as he picks up the win!

McMurphy feints a jab promting Little to slip. McMurphy then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Little slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.#CUT2#

Little changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McMurphy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
McMurphy can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SU#

Little fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McMurphy sprawls well initially but Little persists and gets the takedown into half guard. #ES2#
McMurphy makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Bannon McMurphy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Little is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McMurphy is just riding it out for now. Little eventually gives up the hold.

McMurphy manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Little keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Little turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Little manages to end up in side control.
