North throws a right and a left that both miss.
John definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
North throws a push kick but John slaps the foot to one side.
John seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
A head kick misses from North.
John throws out a loose jab but North uses good head movement to avoid it.
A kick lands to the mid section there for North.
The fighters circle, before North throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into John's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! North lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Miles North!
Miles North seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.

John looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Carnevore thuds his right hand into John's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Carnevore goes for a small jab and connects. Now Carnevore goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! John stumbles back but Carnevore runs in with a huge uppercut knocking John to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if John will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Lee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from John.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lee has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Brandon Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Lee makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Lee steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with John's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. John just didn't come prepared.

John manages to stand up with Duran still on his back. Eventually Duran drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.
