Saito lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Saito is pressed up against the cage. Augusto has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Saito down to the mat. Saito avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Augusto shoots in but Saito avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Augusto dives in for a single leg takedown but Saito sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Michael Anthony! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Marcelo Augusto!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Augusto.

Augusto seems to have locked his on tight now - Montgomery screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Augusto, as he picks up the win!
