#R1# George closes the distance looking to clinch #TD# and Bowers counters with a nice double leg into side control. George won't be happy with that. You can see the frustration on George's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. George manages to get back to half guard. George controlling the position for now. George tries to roll over but Bowers keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# George slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. George trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! George pulls Bowers in to control the position. Bowers might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#ES2# George is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. #TD2# George jumps guard.
Bowers really is a fat lump.#T2##SUB2# George escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bowers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. George wants to stand up but Bowers is controlling him. Bowers stopping the sweep attempt from George. George throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. George has control of Bowers's left arm, preventing Bowers from doing any damage. #SUB2# George pushes a forearm under Bowers's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Bowers is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
