#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eternal's corner calls for a 1-2. Eternal obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Halko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Eternal's waist but Eternal gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Halko off to one side. #TD2# Halko shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Halko was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Eternal is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Halko asserts his dominance and retains side control. Halko should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.#SUB2# Eternal is trying to stand and escape here. Kamenov is nestled in close to Halko, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kamenov winds up and cracks Halko with a swinging punch to the side of the head. We've been hearing that Kamenov has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

We've been informed that Bobby has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Bobby displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Halko. Halko throws a series of punches but Bobby avoids them all with ease. Bobby moves away from the strike by Halko. Ciosek tries to sprawl out of it but Halko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ciosek manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A little jabbing left from Ciosek on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Halko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Baltasar Halko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pope looks winded! Halko fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pope looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Halko scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. A punch combination from Halko misses. A combination from Halko does no damage. Halko throws a series of punches but Pope moves out of range. #KD# Halko drops Pope with a right and a left! Halko comes rushing in but Pope regains his composure and manages to keep Halko in guard.

Halko dives in and grabs Virastuk's left leg, looking for a takedown. Virastuk pushes down on Halko's head and hops out. Vasily Virastuk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Baltasar Halko. Halko has a takedown stuffed. Virastuk is looking to counter punch. I was talking to Virastuk's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Virastuk stops a takedown attempt from Halko.

Halko goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Virastuk is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Zeus cracks a nice hook into Halko's ribs. Halko fails with the takedown and Zeus makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Zeus moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Halko on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Oh, that's bad for Zeus!#ES2# Zeus explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Baltasar Halko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Left hook, right uppercut from Zeus. #CUT2# It looks like Baltasar Halko has been cut. Zeus is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Halko looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Halko circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Mammoth cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Mammoth connects with a single shot there. Mammoth slips a jab and a cross from Halko.
Mammoth lands a jab to Halko's midsection. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mammoth checks a leg kick. Halko fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Mammoth checks it well. Halko shoots for a double leg takedown but Mammoth sprawls well. He's pushed Halko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mammoth throwing a counter right hand but Halko manages to avoid it. Mammoth lands a slapping body shot.

Horse controlling the position well. Horse is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Halko slows the pace down in half guard. Horse is trying to maintain the position but Halko is very close to passing his half guard.#T1# Halko trying to mount his opponent but Horse defends it. Horse is not content to let Halko control the position. Horse is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Club Pain, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Halko seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. My spies in Russian Fighting Community Gym inform me that Halko has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! We've been hearing reports that Halko has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Halko misses with a series of wild punches.
Langhi scores with a sloppy right hand. Halko should have avoided that one. Halko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Langhi pinned against the cage. Langhi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. #TD# Halko shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Langhi manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Langhi wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Halko postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Langhi is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Halko, into his guard. #REVB##SUB# Halko is looking to cinch up a triangle. Langhi throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Halko's body to avoid the submission. Halko has instead reached around Langhi's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Halko arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
