In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw McHale working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
McHale lands a big elbow - Trezeguet is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for McHale!

Trezeguet takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Cortez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Trezeguet is just riding it out for now. Cortez eventually gives up the hold.
Trezeguet is still in real trouble! Can Cortez finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cortez is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Trezeguet is hurt! He's hurt bad - Cortez fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Trezeguet from any more punishment! Congratulations to Cortez! Great finish!
