The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holt misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Holt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Holt swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Flexner to counter with a crisp jab.
Holt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Flexner moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Flexner moves into range and clinches up with Holt.
Flexner lands a hook that snaps the head of Holt backwards.
Holt tries to pull guard but Flexner holds him up against the cage and eventually Holt drops back down to his feet.

Flexner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Flexner looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Holt displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Flexner throws out the jab.
Holt looks to land a combination but Flexner avoids it well.

Flexner cracks Holt with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Flexner lands a really nice looking cross but Holt seems unphased.

Holt avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Holt wants to counter the offense by Flexner and move into the clinch position.

Holt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Flexner looks to move to half guard but instead Holt has passed into mount! Damn!
Holt cracks Flexner with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Holt is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Holt can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Flexner is looking to escape.
Holt takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Holt goes for a takedown in the clinch but Flexner prevents it.

Flexner takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Flexner leaves Holt with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Flexner, as that shot connected.
Holt drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Flexner throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Holt on the side of the head.

Luke Holt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Holt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Flexner as he jumps to the side.
Holt fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Flexner avoids it really well and circles away.
Flexner tests Holt's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Holt is rocked!

Flexner circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Holt to the canvas! Holt doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Flexner keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
