The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baley throws a low kick but it's checked well by Rage.
Baley circles away from the clinch attempt.

It looks like Blitzkrieg Rage has been cut.
Rage misses with a wild body shot.
Baley will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Baley fails to land with a series of punches.
Rage wants to clinch up but Baley keeps it at a distance.

Baley loads up on a big right hand but Rage slips the punch.

Baley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Baley scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rage closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Baley to the mat! Baley manages to get full guard.

Rage wants to clinch up but Baley keeps it at a distance.

Rage shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Baley's guard.

Baley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rage. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rage changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Baley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Blitzkrieg Rage overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Baley pushes Rage away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rage gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Rage is looking to take a break and control but Baley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
