Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodolfo Gusman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Bunga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gusman comes to the cage accompanied by La sonora santanera - El santo, el cavernario. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gusman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Gusman closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gusman is looking to take a break and control but Bunga is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gusman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bunga with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bunga is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bunga has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gusman is working away from the top position though.
Gusman lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Gusman takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gusman lands a nice short elbow.
Bunga is still in real trouble! Can Gusman finish him?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gusman lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Bunga quite badly. Bunga pulls Gusman in close trying to recover. Gusman postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Bunga on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Bunga doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
