Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adas Rittlewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Burnbuckle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rittlewski comes to the cage accompanied by Jajecznica. Burnbuckle has chosen Highway To Hell as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adas Rittlewski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Burnbuckle!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burnbuckle closes the distance and clinches.

Burnbuckle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rittlewski fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Rittlewski feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Burnbuckle doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Burnbuckle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rittlewski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Burnbuckle pushes Rittlewski off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Burnbuckle throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rittlewski.

and Burnbuckle counters by moving into the clinch.

Burnbuckle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rittlewski closes the distance but Burnbuckle moves to the side

so Burnbuckle counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Burnbuckle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Rittlewski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Burnbuckle on the ground.

Burnbuckle drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Burnbuckle jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Rittlewski thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rittlewski wants to sweep here but Burnbuckle controlling him for the moment.
Burnbuckle wants to control from the top but Rittlewski keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Burnbuckle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Burnbuckle keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Rittlewski shoots in and bounces Burnbuckle off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Rittlewski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Burnbuckle swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Burnbuckle manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rittlewski manages to get himself to full guard.

Rittlewski on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rittlewski tries to get out of the position.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Burnbuckle moves into range and clinches up with Rittlewski.
Rittlewski fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Burnbuckle blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Burnbuckle breaks from the clinch.
Rittlewski shoots in for a double leg but Burnbuckle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Burnbuckle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rittlewski moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rittlewski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Burnbuckle as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adas Rittlewski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Burnbuckle just misses with a punch to the body.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Burnbuckle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

It looks like Adas Rittlewski has been cut.
Burnbuckle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Burnbuckle swings for the body but Rittlewski moves out of range.

and Rittlewski counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Burnbuckle's guard now.
Burnbuckle bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rittlewski's guard.
Burnbuckle is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

and Rittlewski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Burnbuckle will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Rittlewski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Burnbuckle as he jumps to the side.

Burnbuckle is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rittlewski knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rittlewski is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Burnbuckle is controlling him well.

Well Burnbuckle has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
