Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Augustus Hippobody (ranked 2002 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Large (ranked 2462 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hippobody misses the jab.
Large misses with a left hand
and Hippobody counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hippobody bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hippobody looks to land a left hand but Large moved out of range nicely.
Large lands an overhand right.

It looks like Augustus Hippobody has been cut.
A big right from Hippobody misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Large misses with a hook.
Large throws a hook to the side of Hippobody's head but Hippobody sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hippobody throws a lazy uppercut
and Large counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Large stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Large jabs Hippobody to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Large lands a nice shot that snaps Hippobody's head back.
Mr Large seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hippobody avoids the body shot from Large.
Large works Hippobody's body with a nice hook.
A jab lands there for Large.
Hippobody takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Large swings for the body but Hippobody moves out of range.

and Large counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Augustus Hippobody's cut is getting worse.
Large scores with a hook to the body. Hippobody takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Large scores with the left hand. Hippobody knows he should have avoided that one.
Large scores with a shot to the body.
Large dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hippobody is breathing heavily.
Large lands a nice shot to the body.
Large lunges at Hippobody with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hippobody's hand.
Large thuds a left hand into Hippobody's body.

Large moves into range and connects with a jab.
A shot to the liver by Large. Beautiful body shot.
Large is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Hippobody takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Large scores with a leg kick.
Large is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hippobody had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Large lands a big uppercut and Hippobody crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hippobody looks OK. Large waves Hippobody back to his feet!

Augustus Hippobody's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Large engages and cracks Hippobody with a massive lead left hook - Hippobody tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Large is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
