Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Issa Kassib (ranked 2307 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phillip Haba (ranked 2084 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Phillip Haba!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haba rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kassib moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Haba throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Haba takes a swing at Kassib's ribcage but misses.
Kassib is looking to counter the offense by Haba and move into the clinch.
Haba ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kassib moves away.
Kassib tries to clinch up but Haba circles away and keeps his distance.
Haba waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kassib.

The referee calls for Haba to work.

Haba breaks the clinch.
Haba looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kassib tries to close the distance and clinch but Haba swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kassib tries to clinch up.
Kassib takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Haba lands a glancing blow to the side of Kassib's head.
Haba clobbers Kassib with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Haba cracks Kassib with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Kassib is rocked!
Haba misses with a few strikes there.
Kassib is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Haba.
Kassib looks up at the clock. Bad move! Haba lands a right hand from hell, dropping Kassib. Haba pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phillip Haba!
