Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mushko Petrov (ranked 5508 p4p, 414 weight class) and Maris Lakis (ranked 6033 p4p, 439 weight class). Mushko Petrov looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lakis drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Petrov looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Lakis stands and steps away. Petrov gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Lakis looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Petrov!
Lakis misses with the ground and pound.
Petrov wants to get back to his feet but Lakis drags him back down.
Lakis just content to control the position.
Lakis has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Lakis looking to score a takedown here. Petrov is defending well but Lakis drives through and ends up in Petrov's guard.
Petrov is looking to stand back up but Lakis counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Petrov.

Petrov has hold of Lakis's hands but Lakis slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Lakis passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Petrov!

Petrov is in a horrible position here. Lakis smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Lakis working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Petrov wants to get back to his feet.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Lakis! Petrov is hurt baaadly! Lakis is firing away with more strikes - Petrov is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
